INTERGALACTIC SHORT FILM COMPETITION

READ RULES/TERMS IN FULL TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT

Ballymorans newest resident and judge of the first ever intergalactic short film competition

• 1: To enter the ZONAD short film competition you must create a short film of no more than 3 minutes in length, plus or minus 10%, including titles and credits and in accordance with the creative brief given.
• 2: You may not use any copyrighted material in your in your video, including soundtracks and footage belonging to third parties used without their consent unless the material has been made available under a creative commons license which covers the use you would like to put the material to.
• 3: You must be over 12 years of age at the closing date.
• 4: The promotor accepts no responsibility or liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission ,theft, destruction and or alteration. All lost, damaged or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
• 5: On submitting a video, each entrant irrevocably and exclusively grants and assigns the promotor with full title guarantee the entire copyright and all other rights of whatever nature in its entry for the full duration of such rights around the world.
• 6: The winner's entry will be included on the Zonad DVD as an added feature.
• 7: Employees, families or agents of the Promotor and/or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the competition. In any event, the Promotor reserves the right to refuse any entry which it considers in its sole discretion to be ineligible in accordance with these terms and conditions.
• 8: By submitting your video, you are agreeing to allow Element Pictures Distribution to contact you with regards to the competition only.
  All entries must be made in accordance with these rules. The winners may be required to participate in publicity surrounding this promotion. It is a condition of the competition that Element Pictures Distribution may use all submitted Videos in any or all media in perpetuity.
• 9: Your entry must be made specifically for Zonad.
• 10: If, due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize becomes unavailable Element Pictures Distribution reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.
  Where a prize is to be provided by a third party, Element Pictures Distribution accept no responsibility whatsoever for the supply or non-supply or purported supply or delay in supply of the prize, including without limitation, the failure of the winner to receive ownership of or use the prize. Where appropriate, prize winners are required to complete all applicable booking and/or other formalities directly with the specified third party provider(s).
• 11: Element Pictures Distribution reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a competition and/or vary competition rules at any time without prior notice.
• 12: Element Pictures Distribution do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any death, injury or other damage, loss, expense or liability arising as a result of taking a prize. Nor will Element Pictures Distribution have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in any Element Pictures Distribution competition or any of the prizes rewarded.
• 13: Any person found to be in disregard of these rules will be disqualified automatically.
• 14: Element Pictures Distribution reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
